This year we
said a sad goodbye to Barry Mason, an amazingly talented artist who called
Ballina Palm Lake Resort home for the past few years. Barry had won awards in
numerous competitions, exhibitions and shows for his oils, watercolours and
pastels. His work is represented in galleries around Australia and is proudly
hung on the walls of many people's homes, bringing pleasure each day.
Barry was a
driving force in the establishment of an art exhibition showcasing the artworks
of Palm Lake Ballina residents work held in April each year. This year we are
holding a virtual exhibition instead, and are proudly including a small
snapshot of Barry's diverse art collection.
