Palm Lake Golfing trip to Chinderah
There was another good turn up at Chinderah Golf Course on Friday 28th August with 16 Palm Lakers enjoying the sunny day and great company.
Bob MacDonald led the field with 44 points, followed closely by Ron Rawson on 43.
Nearest the pins went to Bob MacDonald and Paul Denmeade.
Notable scores were Peter van Iersal on 42 points and Steve Horne on 40. The handicapper is going to have lots of fun before the next game!

Birthday bash to Tenterfield
A group of 8 Palm Lake golfers ventured to Tenterfield for Gerry Wilde’s 70th birthday.
The boys dressed up for the occasion with T-shirts with Gerry's face printed on them.
Gerry stood out as the birthday boy, with a colour co-ordinated wig and tutu. He certainly rose to the challenge: as they say, “if anyone can, Gerry can”.
